Are children allowed aboard: Yes children are very very welcome, But there must be 1 adult per 3 children.

Are there any discounts!: Sorry, Due completely to fuel cost rises we now do no discounts at all.

Do I have to book the whole boat (for 10 people)?: No. Single bookings are accepted however a minimum of 4 people are required to run a trip (8for wrecking trips). Please refer to the available dates page to check how many places are available and try to choose a day where places have already been booked.

Do I need to be experienced?: Not at all, Nearly all of our customers are totally new to Angling and we will show you what to do as the day progresses.

Do I need to pay a deposit?: Yes. A deposit of £25.00 per person is required to secure your booking. The balance is required in cash on the day.

Do we catch Tope on 3 hour trips: No, The 3 hour trips are for Mackerel and Bass when they are about (normally July-September)

Do you take debit/credit card payments?: Unfortunately we do not have the facility to accept debit/credit card payments. Once you have made a booking we will require a cheque or postal order.

Do you take stag parties and hen parties?: Yes, We do but we discourage lots of alcohol. If you book the whole boat as a private or corporate party we will gladly supply you with a few glasses of wine or champagne. Lots of cans of beer/bottles are not allowed!!!

Booking information required:
- the name(s) of the person(s) coming on the trip
- an emergency contact telephone number, in case of cancellation, due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. (I need to be able to contact you the day before your trip.)
- a deposit of £25.00 per person

How many people can you carry aboard?: We carry a maximum of 10 people in comfort. There are 10 fishing stations (with chair and rods) on deck and dining space inside for 10

How much does a trip cost?: A trip costs £80.00 per person. This includes all of the gear: rods, tackle, bait and lunch aboard.

Is the boat safe for children ?: We carry babies right down to babies in arms. Our biggest concern for the little ones is wind chill so please make sure that they are wrapped up. We have children of our own so we have 5 small child life jackets and also we now carry the latest co-salt baby cribs which are adjustable to suit any size baby if an emergency should arise.
Please note you are responsible for your own children!

What happens if we are Sea Sick?: This boat is one of the most stable and safest boats built and we will not go if it is really rough so you should be ok. If you are ill and we are fishing from Brancaster Staithe,It is a tidal harbour which means that we can not get back in until the tide returns.(basically you will have to wait at least 7 hours) If we are fishing from Lowestoft in the Winter it is a marina and I could drop you off.(but only if we are not to far out)

What happens to our deposit if there is a cancellation?: If we have to cancel due to bad weather your trip can be rebooked as near to the original date as possible,However if we can not fit you in or you are no longer on holiday here we will refund you deposit.

What is for dinner?: On a normal £75 per person day it will probably be a buffet so you can help yourself between hopefully catching fish.
If it is a corporate trip £1000 for the whole boat it is likely to be Lobster cooked aboard and wine but most things can be done aboard to suit your requirements.Champagne can be provided if requested.

What will we be trying to catch?: From May until the end of September is Tope season,October is very poor for fishing so we will be doing Wildlife and Bird watching trips into the Wash Estuary from Brancaster Staithe. November until March is Cod fishing from Lowestofts Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Marina.April is again very poor fishing so we will be doing the Wildlife and Birdwatching trips again from Brancaster Staithe.

Why buy a catamaran and not a monohull vessel: Over the past few years we have found that there are two types of customers, Firstly there are fishermen and then there are the people that just want a really nice relaxing day out of the office. We can now cater for both. We have stability (up to 40 times more stable than a mono hull vessel of the same size) We also have more speed (around 23 knots) most boats are 7-17 knots.So more fishing time.
This means we can stay in rough weather and also get home quick if needed.
