Monday 23rd February 2009

Great Bunch, First time with me (group from HOOKED tackle shop in Newmarket), Nice to have 10 people that can cast for a change. 20-25 fish mainly Cod but some nice Whiting and a massive Pouting. Fished in the deep until the tide run Hard then moved in close under Corton. Nice weather most of the day but wet and cold for the last couple of hours.

Great day, Slight breeze. Slow start, Had to move to cliffs. Plenty of fish as the tide eased. Lots of weed about. Ended up with about 20 cod and a few Whiting.

Great day, Fished the new spot again. No big fish but ended up with about 20 Cod

Friday 20th February 2009

A new spot for us, Slightly deeper and No Weed!!! Great day, 15 Cod, loads of bites. Biggest fish 6lb6oz and another nice fish caught by Young 9year old Bob in the photo

Wednesday 18th February 2009

The perfect day for learning to fish. Calm and not to much tide, Only one problem, No fish!
Only 2 cod in 4 hours. fortunately both fish were caught by the kids so they were well happy.

Monday 16th February 2009

Fished Corton cliffs, Lots of weed and a fair amount of tide but flat calm and perfect for our customers which were all first timers. Ended up with about 15 Cod and a few whiting and pouting.

Sunday 15th February 2009

Back to normal it seems for now, About a dozen fish all day. Lots of tide, Hard to fish on the bottom for a time but a few fish caught again when the tide slowed down.

Saturday 7th February 2009

Very good trip, 17 cod, Every one caught except 1 person again. They only caught 4 last year so all happy!

Rain,Snow and cold. One poor fellow managed not to catch a thing all day but every one else caught Cod 4-5 each.

For the first time ever my customers from all 3 groups canceled before me due to the snow that should be coming. ( we shall see if the weatherman is correct soon enough)
